Description: In this Physics video for Class 12 in Hindi we explained how polarisation of light happens during scattering and reflection. We also explained the Brewster's angle and the Brewster's law. This is a topic of Chapter 10 - 'Wave Optics' from NCERT for Class 12. Polarized light is light that has its vibration limited to one plane. A light wave that is vibrating in more than one plane is referred to as unpolarized light. Polarisation : It is the process where non-polarized light is converted into polarised light. When unpolarised light is scattered by the molecules present in atmosphere or reflected from the boundary of two media, it gets poarised. Brewster's angle : Brewster's angle (also known as the polarization angle) is an angle of incidence at which light with a particular polarization is perfectly transmitted through a transparent dielectric surface, with no reflection. Brewster's law : When an unpolarized light of known wavelength is incident on a transparent substance surface, it experiences maximum plane polarization at the angle of incidence whose tangent is the refractive index of the substance for the wavelength. πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ 𝑷𝑳𝑨𝒀𝑳𝑰𝑺𝑻 πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ πŸ”΄ Click here to watch the whole playlist on Chapter 10 : 'Wave Optics' for Class 12 : youtube.com/watch?v=Sagr_3_lOKA&list=PLW0F47OesfFNwxeIPvGc7xBQg89Dvpjpj&index=1 πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ π‘·π’“π’†π’—π’Šπ’π’–π’” π‘½π’Šπ’…π’†π’π’” πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ πŸ”΄ Wave Optics (Introduction) youtu.be/Sagr_3_lOKA πŸ”΄ Huygens Principle youtu.be/-iz3P4iuNaI πŸ”΄ Refraction using Huygens Principle youtu.be/UZhKHDT08Ow πŸ”΄ Reflection using Huygens Principle youtu.be/NeJRKrTRw6s πŸ”΄ Doppler Effect of Light (Part 1) || RED SHIFT youtu.be/kwpjWv0gJvc πŸ”΄ Doppler Effect of Light (Part 2) || EQUATION DERIVATION youtu.be/ka9q_eXUk5I πŸ”΄ Doppler Effect of Light (Part 3) || Intuition for Frequency Change youtu.be/cytjpgBwVmQ πŸ”΄ INTERFERENCE of Light - YOUNG'S DOUBLE SLIT Experiment youtu.be/Y1bPmdHJuaI πŸ”΄ DIFFRACTION of Light youtu.be/3z0nWghQvlI πŸ”΄ Polarisation (Part 1) || Malus' Law youtu.be/WU7e9fsBwx0 0:00 Interesting demonstration related to polarisation 1:40 What is polarisation (revision) 5:20 Polarisation by Scattering 11:30 Polarisation by Reflection 15:51 Brewster's angle and Brewster's law
